Inspire Me Thursday: Goddess

Inspired by characters like June Cleaver who were expected to be every man's "Goddess": perfect looks and figure, great cook, and wonderful moms who always dressed impeccably. I used collage material from vintage dress patterns, old recipes and ephemera. Aren't we glad those days are gone? :-)

Is that Aunt Bea's recipe for chocolate fudge? Wonderful! Nostalgic! Creatively brilliant!

Royce: the recipe came from an old box of recipes I got at a flea market. Lots of yellowing recipes and newspaper clippings. I knew I'd use them for something! :-)

I think your interpretation of a modern day Goddess, Domestic or otherwise, is wonderful. I love the colors and use of vintage imagery.:D
