I've been keeping up with "Studio Friday" each week and I've finally decided to participate. Each week in "Studio Friday" a different theme is established to highlight a portion of the studio or work in progress. My "Secret Stash" are these fruit/veggie people salt/pepper shakers that I collect. I'm pretty particular, though :-). They have to have "made in japan" on the bottom. They also have to be fruits or vegetables with human attributes—even though I do have a pair of raindrops with faces and a spoon and fork with human features. I love these because they are very colorful and so ugly they're cute.
whoa! how great these are,and the photo is fabulous!!

ReplyDeleteYay, I agree, so ugly that they are VERY cute. Inspiring, you should try to paint them or take more photos of them and post. FUN! Or... write littel stories about them! :-)

ReplyDeleteOH my these are so cute! What an excellent secret stash! I think they are definitely more cute than ugly!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen anything like these...how wild are they! Definitely so ugly, they are cute!
ReplyDeletenice collection. i have one of these but unfortunately left them in my homeland. i have a japanese friend who likes giving me some nice things from japan.
ReplyDeleteI too, am addicted to silly things!
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I've been looking for a pair of those raindrops shakers with faces. Mom's friend had a pair among her vast collection of s&p's, and they were always my favorites, even though when I was a kid I thought they were onions making those faces because they could smell each other.
Post a picture of them?
